The Pre-War and Post War classics featured on the CD are from Blues greats Charley Patton, Funny Paper Smith, Irene Scruggs, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Blind Blake and others. As a bonus, also included is the Edith North Johnson MISSING PARAMOUNT!
These songs are newly restored using the American Epic sound team's amazing restoration techniques. Developed at great expense for the soundtrack of the PBS series, there is less surface noise and more dynamic range than in any previous release of these tracks.
