The original PSRT has been a staple in shops around the world for years. As hardware standards and shop needs evolve, so must the tools. The PSRT-G2 is a ground-up redesign that maintains the field-proven functionality of the original while incorporating modern updates for better efficiency and versatility.
Why Gen-2?
We didn't just tweak the old design—we started over to ensure this router table meets the highest standards of the "Smart" philosophy.
• Updated T-Track Integration: The G2 features a modernized T-track layout designed to work seamlessly with current hardware. This provides flexible, secure, and accurate clamping and fencing options for professional-level results.
• Precision Metric-First Design: To ensure the highest level of accuracy, the PSRT-G2 was designed in metric. While the plans include full Imperial conversions, the metric layout offers the easiest and most accurate path for construction, even in an Imperial shop.
• Refined Dimensions: We’ve optimized the size of the table (approximately 30" x 22") to better integrate with the modern Smart Woodshop ecosystem. It provides a large, stable work surface while maintaining the compact footprint needed for a mobile shop or job site.
• Streamlined for Performance: This is a dedicated tool focused entirely on routing precision. By removing unnecessary bulk and focusing on structural stability, we've created a table that is lightweight enough to be truly portable but solid enough for heavy-duty production work.
