ABOUT THIS SONG Another song that grew out of a talking point in earlier Choquette workshops. The idea is that so many are alone in their personal moments of living. They have few, if any, advocates for their dreams. Too many are simply in it for themselves and do not have the inner resources or capacity to show up for others. We needed to shore that up and build the idea that one can be there for both others and self...at the same time. Incorporating another critical spiritual idea that we have to ask for help from our personal posse of etheric guides and teachers this song came together in the key of Bm, accessing the Sacral Center and uniting with the Crown to create a visceral spiritual experience. Putting it into a folky ethnic bounce allowed it to step out of the restrictive box of familiar music and open doors of playful, but serious, willingness. With a changing partner for each repetition we went back and forth asking another for witnessing to their vision followed by the other partner affirming that they will do so. Back and forth we went with new partners until we developed the willingness to ask for that witnessing and the willingness to give that witnessing to the other without prompting.
