ABOUT THIS SONG From the Hindu tradition comes this sung mantra that honors the warrior and the lover contained in all of us. Paying homage to Rama and Krishna we dance into the blending of the spirits. I remember in the late sixties taking a trip with some of my high school football team members to the University of California at Berkely. It was there where I fist saw and heard the Hare Krishnas do their chant and dance and look the strange way that they did. I was full of judgment and laughed at the goofy sight. Many years passed and I discovered what an uninformed fool I had been. I had lived my way into the openness to allow the vibrational power of these chants to finally enter my field. Thank you, Spirit...perhaps it is time to shave my head and dance down the street in a chanting bliss...hmmm... |
