ABOUT THIS SONG Some of the songs on this CD were intentionally created for performances and programs. This one is such a song. I wanted to perform it with three other men and present it like a wandering caroling group coming to your door. It has that celebratory, uplifting feel. It sings of the deeper elements of the Christmas experience, the coming together, the rituals, the exchanges, the reminiscing, the realizations, the reflections... In the chorus is the return to the foundational purpose of the event, the Spiritual component...and the bells ring to the glory of Heaven...all of the world is so filled with the Light.... all gathered for a Higher Purpose, separate from the secular issues that often plague the gatherings. It is an invitation on a deep level to allow the connections that transcend the dimensions. Use it for what it is, a spirited celebration of a still special time for those who observe it. Open your heart and sing to the Heavens about how wonderful and precious everything is, even if it isn't...for a moment seed another reality to attract more of it to you..all on this Christmas night... |
