ABOUT THIS SONG We arrive at the song that opens the door to the fulfillment of the destiny, Gethsemane... Jesus goes to the garden to ponder the magnitude of what is about to occur...he wrestles with the guidance, feeling the humanness of the experience as well as the Divine. It is personal and temporarily agonizing...to knowingly give up one's life to the waiting arms of physical death...but He knows the big picture...and that is what prevails here. His resolution comes just as the results of Judas' betrayal...Father, do your will, but it's a bitter cup, do you really want me to go? The song lifts out of the G minor base where it has been reflecting in the Throat and in between the Solar Plexus and Sacral Centers, where the emotionality of a decision is played out. It lifts up as Jesus oscillates into reflection about the life thus far and how He has been a steward of the Word, faithful, loyal...but...does it really need to end like this? And the irony here is that in the next dimension all of the Etheric guides and celestial players assigned to this Jesus frequency are waiting to intervene, to smooth it out...but they are powerless unless Jesus calls them... and He does not...of course...instead...Jesus' heart was turning to Apostles who would all be left behind...and then He seals the deal with a Thy will be Thy will be Thy will be Thy will be Thy will be done on Earth declaration... Still reflecting to show the difficulty of His inner challenge to find resolution to the matter at hand, He wants assurance that the Apostles will be taken care of...bartering with God, His life for the insurance that the Word will be spread in a supported manner...He dances as He slips into remembering His childhood, a hint of the dimensional dance He will do when on the cross as this human life slips out of His body. Out of this reverie, the decision is made...and if there were angels to sing they would have done it here. Because the tragedy was about to reveal the Glory...the directors were scrambling to set the stage as the extras were called in to play out this Cecile B. Demile sized scene...places everybody! The song fades with it's time to go...it's time to go...it's time to go... and so it is. Use this song when you need to make an important decision. Recognize and allow the moods of making that decision. Entertain the resistance and then go within to talk with the One... |
SONG LYRICS: GETHSEMANE Up on Olivet in the Garden of Gethsemane Jesus stood alone while Judas worked his treachery “Father, do Your will but it’s a bitter cup Do you really want me to go?” “Laying down this life stepping from the flesh I have never turned from any of Your tests Send me some assurance that My death is necessary Do you really want me to go?” Is it really possible that After all I’ve been through Since that stable back in Bethlehem when I was Sent here just by You To show the way of Love bring Your Glory, Father To the world To end like this While in the next dimension Where the angels of creation All were gathered waiting for a Word from Jesus To give intervention Jesus’ heart was turning To Apostles Who would all be left behind Thy will be Thy will be Thy will be Thy will be Thy will be Done on Earth Thy will be Thy will be Thy will be Thy will be Thy will be done on Earth “What of my Apostles, Do they have all that they need? Is there more that I can do? Is there more to teach? I know I’ve done my best but They are weak, oh, how I love them Do you really want me to go?” Turn me now to memories Soothe my troubled heart To Galilee and Nazareth So many blessed parts So it is I’ll drink this cup and show Them that this death is but a veil My but it’s a miracle that Everything I’ve been through Since that cradle back in Bethlehem when I was sent Here with the Truth I’d show the way of Love and bring Your Glory, Father, to the world Let them come and take me, Let the majesty begin And let us celebrate the Power of the Universe that flows Within us Father, I Am ready, I’m ready Let them take me away Thy will be Thy will be Thy will be Thy will be Thy will be done on Earth Thy will be Thy will be Thy will be Thy will be Thy will be done on Earth Up on Olivet from the Garden of Gethsemane Jesus, he returns Judas works his treachery It’s time to go It’s time to go It’s time to go © February 1, 1998.
