ABOUT THIS SONG I read this quote once that said, "Great Nations love their animals." Indeed...that deserved a song. This whole song is a lambast of how animals have been treated by the blind eye of humanity, using the complete misinterpretation of the Bible phrase about man having dominion over the kingdoms of the Earth. From an esoteric, higher perspective view, this refers to the celestial design where there is agreement among the mineral, plant, elemental, and animal kingdoms to provide for humans, not be abused and exploited by them. The cruelty with which animals are treated is despicable. Again, from an expanded view, the abuses and wounds of humans play out often on the living animals as they become a receptacle for the unprocessed rage of far too many wounded people. The idea of sport hunting and fishing, the way the meat industry runs its work with the cows, sheep, fish, and fowl is unbelievably terrible. That moment of death/terror the animal feels at the hands of the killer is frozen into the cellular structure of the meat itself. It finds its way into humans when they eat it...you get the picture. The song is an in-your-face call to change habits and really make the world a more loving, cooperative, and safe place. How many more species of animals are going to go back where they came from, appearing extinct, because they are weary of the abuse, before humans wake up to the self-inflicted killing of their own world and lives....it has to stop...great nations...love their animals... |
