ABOUT THIS SONG In all my years of playing music in wedding bands some of the best responses for dancing came when we would play the Jewish classic, Hava Naguila. People just loved the beat and the build and the dancing in a circle as a group. And as the last note dropped at the end we all would shout, "La Chaim"...to life! As I penned this song which was also used in the 12 Powers CD to represent that particular power, I had to go to the Jewish tradition and that feel. This song grows out of the slow moving beginning to crescendo in a celebration., even throwing in my Greek heritage 'Opah!" somewhere in the middle. |
