Course Overview
Excessive crying or colic occurs in 30% of babies and drives 25% of pediatric visits in the first months of life.  Families are often concerned, exhausted and in need of support.  Naturopathic medicine offers a compassionate, holistic and whole-person approach.  Evidence-based treatments and clinical pearls shared with case studies will be covered in this webinar to help you be confident in helping these families.

After the presentation, participants will be able to confidently:

  • Provide a differential diagnosis for a fussy baby
  • Understand range of normal infant behaviors in regards to sleeping, feeding and crying
  • Confidently prescribe a treatment plan for both the breastfed and formula fed infant
  • Understand state of the research in regards to PPI use in infancy
  • Pick the most evidence based probiotic strains for use in infancy
