Course Overview
As a doctor who treats reproductive aged women, you know that a woman’s menstrual cycle is often a reflection of her overall health. Normal cycles mean that the body is working properly in many ways. On the other hand, issues with the menstrual cycle tend to indicate that there are problems in other systems of the body. Do you see women who complain of painful periods, irregular cycles or heavy bleeding? Would you like to be more confident about how to recognize and treat endometriosis, PCOS and perimenopause? Join us to learn how to properly diagnose and effectively treat (conventional and natural approaches) these three very common but challenging women’s health issues. You will walk away with many clinical pearls and time tested treatment approaches that you can start using in your practice right away.

After the presentation, participants will be able to confidently:

  • Gain an appreciation of what is and is not considered a “normal” menstrual cycle.
  • Have a higher level of awareness to see menstrual irregularities as “red flags” that indicate other conditions that need to be ruled out or addressed.
  • Be able to confidently diagnose and address three common women’s health conditions: Endometriosis, PCOS and Perimenopause.
  • Have an updated review of pharmaceuticals used to address these three conditions.
  • Gain compassion for women and their experiences when they are suffering with concerns related to their periods.
