Course Overview
Diabetes is now affecting nearly 10% of the American population, according to the CDC statistics in 2014, and is expected to rise. While diet, exercise, and nutraceuticals can provide great support, insulin will be critical for proper care of patients, in both Type 1 and Type 2. With diabetes predisposing patients to other diseases, effectively managing blood sugar will help decrease risk of neuropathy, stroke, and kidney disease. Dr. Jody Stanislaw's passion for optimizing diabetes care comes from the fact that she herself has lived with Type 1 diabetes for 35 years. Join us and listen to an expert in this topic, with her knowledge and experience as both a doctor and a patient.
