Course Overview
PTSD is an increasingly common problem whether after rape, gun violence, war, or other traumatic situations. Patients are looking to natural treatments to reduce anxiety, and improve the other symptoms and possible diseases that come from PTSD. Biography:
Dr. Heather L Herington, BSc, NMD, DHANP graduated from Bastyr University in 1987. She brings nearly 30 years of practice in treating PTSD - post-traumatic stress disorder, originally honored to be under contract by the Vancouver Archdiocese to treat survivors of sexual abuse. Dr. Heather’s workshops, “Moving to Healing” and “Writing Stories to Heal Your Own” use creative process as a treatment modality. She lectures at universities and has published novels, including FLAWED, and has two upcoming musicals. She maintains a practice in Pasadena and Sherman Oaks.
