Cardiac Dysrhythmias
Etiology, Risk Assessment, and Treatment using Naturopathic and Conventional Therapies

More than 4 million Americans, most over age 60, experience heart dysrhythmias that may cause bothersome—sometimes even dangerous—signs or symptoms.  Proper assessment and treatment of cardiac dysrhythmias can prevent serious adverse outcomes.  This webinar will cover the  physiologic causes and treatment options for cardiac dysrhythmias, from both conventional and Naturopathic paradigms.  Therapeutic approaches will include pharmaceutical (including anticoagulation), herbal, orthomolecular, physical medicine, detox and nutritional therapies.

Goals and Objectives
-Review of the underlying causes of atrial and ventricular dysrhythmias.
-Review of a medical model approach of risk assessment and treatment of dysrhythmias.
-Discussion of an advanced model of Naturopathic approach.
-Case Studies will be presented.

Dr. Decker Weiss is the first Naturopathic Physician to complete and internship, residency and fellowship in Cardiology via a conventional medical program.  Dr. Weiss trained in the Columbia Hospotal System in Arizona, the Arizona Heart Hospital and the prestigious Arizona Heart Institute.  Dr. Weiss served on the staff of the Arizona Heart Hospital for over 10 years.  He is the first and only Naturopathic Physician to hold the credential of “Cardiologist” as a fellow of the American Society of Angiology.  Dr. Weiss is the authos of”The Weiss Method: A Better Heart Better Life,” and travels the world training physicians and pharmacists on how to reverse heart disease naturally and reduce or eliminate the need for medications.  Dr. Weiss was revently named of1500 “Leading Physicians of the Worls” by the International Association of Health Care Professionals and the International Association of Cardiologists.
