PRESENTATION DESCRIPTION:
This lecture will review the Ayurvedic approaches to heart health with an emphasis on the mind, body, and spirit connection. We will discuss strategies for managing inflammation through diet, community, lifestyle, and Ayurvedic herbal approaches.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
Understand Ayurveda's holistic approach. By the end of this session, attendees will be able to explain the basic principles of Ayurveda, its understanding of diseases, and the interconnection of microcosm and macrocosm; demonstrating a deep comprehension of how Ayurveda views the universe, body, and heart.
Identify the Ayurvedic perspective on heart related diseases. Attendees will be able to recognize the Ayurvedic interpretation of heart disease, hormonal issues linked to cardiovascular problems, and the natural techniques suggested for lowering cholesterol, while also appreciating the intricate interplay of inflammation, especially in light of Covid and vaccines.
Acknowledge the emotional and temporal influences on cardiac health. Attendees will delve into the emotional components associated with heart health, especially understanding the significance of gratitude and the role of time from an Ayurvedic viewpoint, and its impact on the autonomic nervous system.
Explore spiritual aspects and cardiac physiology. By the conclusion of this discussion, attendees should be able to explain the spiritual facets of Ayurveda and how they influence cardiac physiology, shedding light on the importance of certain physiological elements like inflammation, LipoA, and hormones.
Develop practical strategies for holistic heart health.
